Yes of course! At the checkout, there will be an option to choose your shipping address which can be different to the billing address.

We do recommend that you submit your own email address and contact number at the checkout. This means that you will receive an order confirmation and a prompt from DPD on the day of delivery with a two-hour delivery window, so you can advise the recipient on when their gift will arrive if you wish to do so. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the recipient is in to receive the parcel, or to arrange alternative delivery options with DPD including entering a safe place  – please find the link to these options on the DPD email you will be sent once placing your order.

All products online are now available for pre-order, and we encourage all customers to utilise our pre order system to ensure you secure your required items for guaranteed Christmas delivery.


We are anticipating an incredibly busy festive season, and are offering four delivery windows to choose from as follows:

29th November -3rd December

6th -10th December

12th -14th December

15th -20th December


Please submit your chosen delivery window at the checkout in the box labelled ‘pre-order’, we will then ensure your order is secured and ready for dispatch in time for any festivities you have planned!

If you wish to ship to multiple addresses, we ask that you place your orders separately through our website to ensure that the correct address and gift message is allocated to each order. Free delivery is available via the website for orders over £30.

Of course! We are happy to include a complimentary ORSOM gift card with your order, with a message of your choice. At the checkout, please ensure you submit your gift message in the gift message box, and this will be included in your parcel. Please note, gift messages will be directly copied from your order confirmation and cannot be amended after you check out. All gift messages will be copied exactly as submitted, so please double check you are happy before submitting as this cannot be changed later.

Unfortunately, we are unable to alter the combination of cheese in our Christmas gift hampers. However, you can add extra items to your order which will be delivered alongside your gift hamper.

Our cheese needs to be refrigerated at 3-5°C although we recommend allowing the cheese to reach room temperature before cutting, for the ideal cheese tasting experience.

Yes, all ORSOM cheese is vegetarian.

We guarantee the following minimum shelf life upon delivery of your order – although please note, our cheeses and butters often have dates much longer than this.

Please note our ambient product range including Chutneys, Crackers, Olives and Nuts have a minimum shelf life upon delivery of 30 days however on average have shelf lives of 12 months+.

All products are stored in one fulfilment facility that includes storage of nut containing products. Therefore we cannot guarantee there will be absolutely no contamination of allergens including nuts, to any of our product range.

ORSOM Cheese and Butter Range: ORSOM Cheese and Butter does contain Milk. ORSOM Cheese and Butter does not any contain nuts, wheat or gluten. ORSOM Cheeses are produced on a designated nut free site, which also does not handle wheat or gluten. Our products are stored in an external fulfilment facility, alongside products that do contain nuts therefore we cannot guarantee no cross contamination.

ORSOM Chutneys: Our Great British Craft Ale Chutney contains Barley. Our Deliciously Sticky Figgy Chutney and our Spicy Caramelised Onion Chutney contains sulphites.

Fine Cheese Co. Crackers: Our Cherries, Almonds and Linseeds Toast for Cheese Crackers produced by The Fine Cheese Co. contains Buttermilk, Almonds, Wheat and Sulphites as stated in the product description.

Our Dates, Hazelnuts and Pumpkin Seeds Toast for Cheese Crackers produced by The Fine Cheese Co. contains Milk, Hazelnuts, Wheat and Buttermilk as stated in the product description.

Our Virgin Olive Oil Cracker range (both Sea Salt and Chive), produced by The Fine Cheese Co. contain wheat. These may contain traces of nuts as stated in the product description.

Mr. Filbert’s Nuts and Olives: Our Nut range by Mr. Filbert’s contains nuts. Our Olive range by Mr. Filbert’s does not contain nuts, however our products are stored alongside products that do contain nuts therefore we cannot guarantee no cross-contamination.

Salt and Cure Meats: No known allergens, however as above this product is also stored alongside products that do contain nuts.

We are very proud to be part of the Red Tractor Assurance scheme. Red Tractor is the largest and only food scheme that offers full traceability of products.

Our farms are located mainly within a 35 mile radius of our Dairy and the Red Tractor standards make sure that our farmers are competent to look after animals, understand their needs and that the animal’s health and welfare is regularly checked.

Red Tractor also makes sure that animals have a living space which is safe and comfortable and that all of them have unlimited access to fresh, clean drinking water and well-balanced diets.


Freezing hard cheese is safe, and does not affect the flavour – however, when thawed it can make the texture brittle and crumbly. So our recommendation is to grate your hard cheeses before freezing (but hopefully you can find a way to eat and enjoy it all before it reaches it’s ‘best before’ date!).

This does not apply to soft cheeses – ORSOM Breeze and ORSOM Blue, which are not suitable for freezing.

Delivery FAQ’s

Our aim is to deliver all gifts promptly and in perfect condition. In the unlikely event that there is a problem with your order, please follow the following guidelines:

– If the problem is the fault of ORSOM we will either re-deliver or refund your purchased product, depending on your preference. We insist however that you let us know within 24 hours of receiving your order.

– If there is a mistake submitted on the order form e.g. incorrect information, ORSOM cannot be held responsible for it. However, we will work with you to try and correct the issue.

– If nobody is there to sign for your delivery and your cheese is left unchilled ORSOM cannot offer a refund.

We aim to deliver as below and our team are working as efficiently and safely as possible to get your orders dispatched and delivered to your doorstep.

Mainland UK addresses: 2-3 days from order receipt.  e.g. Orders received on Monday will be dispatched on Tuesday/ Wednesday for delivery on Wednesday/Thursday.  Orders placed on Thursday or Friday will be shipped the following Monday (we don’t want your cheese to sit in a warehouse all weekend!).

Scottish Highlands & Islands and Channel Islands:  Normally we offer a 3 days from of order receipt service e.g. Orders received on Monday will be dispatched on Tuesday for delivery on Thursday.

Northern Ireland, Rep. Ireland, Belgium and France: Unfortunately we are currently unable to ship to these regions, however we are keenly looking into ways to bring this service back and hope we may be able to ship to these regions again soon. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Have a delivery date in mind?

You can request a specific delivery date at checkout in your order notes and we will always do our best to accommodate and ship as close to your chosen date as possible. If we cannot meet the exact day, we always aim to ship on the closest previous day to ensure you do not miss out on giving any important gifts.

Orders to mainland UK over £30 are FREE. Alternatively, we charge £4.95 for delivery to mainland UK for orders under £30, and a subsidised rate of £9.95 to extended UK delivery areas – Highlands and Channel Islands.

On orders over £30 (after discount) we offer free delivery to the mainland UK, sadly we are unable to offer this outside of the UK at current due to the high costs associated with the delivery.
